Catherine Wood

“I was born in Yorkshire but have had connections with Devon for many years. Two years ago, I moved to the Teign valley to be closer to my family. I am a teacher and have taught across the education sector, currently I specialise in bespoke SEND teaching working with young people with autism. I studied Art and Design at university before training as a teacher. I still love Art and spend some of my free time indulging in creativity. I have two grown up children, as a family we love the outdoors; camping, walking, running and swimming are some of our favourite activities to share together.  I am passionate about caring for our environment, our local landscapes and heritage. I live in Doddiscombleigh with my husband, Ian.”
