Road Closure on the B3193

Devon Highways will be carrying out patching works on the B3193: Doghole Bridge towards Lower
Ashton Junction, Christow, between Monday 9th – Friday 20th November 2026 (weekdays only). The
highway requires maintenance and these essential repairs will help restore the surface and improve
safety.
For safety reasons, the road will be closed 24 hours a day. There will be numerous deep and open
excavations in the road, making it unsafe to allow vehicles to pass through. Access queries should be
directed to the gatemen on site who will be glad to assist. Access for emergency vehicles will always
be maintained. The road will be reopened during the weekend: from Friday 13th November at 17:00
until Monday 16th November at 07:00.
